Iroquois Gas Pipelines, Shelton, Connecticut

Business Analysis and Design related to the Nomination, Allocation and Contract system that is operated by Iroquois Gas Pipeline to manage the transportation of Gas on it's Mainline.   The focus of this work was to facilitate automation of the daily process of planning and scheduling of the pipeline.   This entailed documenting business processes, identifying tariff requirements, assessing compliance, and proposing solutions to improve the level of automation in the process within the need to maintain compliance.

Phases:

  1. Identify and document to current system. And the requirements for changes.
  2. Design Proposals for process automation modifications.
  3. Programming and Database changes to effect the changes to develop the needed modifications for changes.
  4. Implementation of automation solutions, including .  Working with Team to test and implement the changes.

Tools used: MSSQL, SQL, Visio, Excel (modelling)

Worked with several clients to implement Incentive Compensation Software.   Each instance were 3-9 month engagements implement the software solution for their organizations.

Two different SAAS products were used.   Xactly and Captivate IQ.

Initial training and vendor certification for the software was required, before the work commenced.

Each implementation required business analysis to gather and confirm requirements, working with the tool to it up with the business rules, Quota's, calculation rules, and report definitions to generate the  reports and artifacts that are needed to report the results for usage in reporting compensation data.
